A half-day express version of Maui's classic downhill ride: straight to the good part.
After a 9:30 AM check-in, a comfortable vehicle carries you on a scenic climb to roughly 6,500 feet, just outside Haleakalā National Park. From there the "Fabulous 29" switchbacks are yours to ride at your own pace, followed by a scenic roll through upcountry Maui.
Everything you need is provided — KONA® downhill mountain bikes with hydraulic disc brakes, Bell® helmets, Helly Hansen® rain gear, DAKINE® packs, plus a map and directions. Non-riders can stay with the extended vehicle tour.
Riders must be 15 or older, over 4'10", under 300 lbs, have recent riding experience and wear closed-toe shoes. Groups larger than six must book a guided tour. Dress in layers.
