The simplest, cheapest way to get a guest onto the water in Kona: 90 minutes under sail along the coast on a 53-foot catamaran, with soda, juice and water included and the bar open.
From mid-December to May the same 2:15pm slot runs as a whale watch, when humpbacks are in close along the Kona coast. Outside whale season it is a tradewind sightseeing sail — dolphins and turtles are seen year round. Plenty of shade, restrooms aboard, safe for all ages.
