Honi Olani is a 53-foot, 49-passenger sailing catamaran out of Honokohau Harbor — big enough to be comfortable for nervous swimmers and families, with restrooms, plenty of shade and ample seating. The morning trip sails the Kona coast to a snorkel site where green sea turtles are a near-daily sight, along with spinner dolphins and reef fish.
Sanitised reusable snorkel gear, a safety vest and in-water guidance are provided, so first-time snorkellers are genuinely looked after. Lunch is a fresh sandwich served aboard, plus unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and two bar drinks per adult. Humpbacks are common December through April.
