Ride the world-famous "Fabulous 29" switchbacks down Haleakalā at your own pace, after a narrated vehicle tour to the top.
A comfortable van carries you up the volcano; from there the descent is yours. You set the rhythm, stop where you like, and roll out through upcountry pasture, small towns and eucalyptus forest with a map in your pack.
Everything you need is provided — KONA® downhill mountain bikes with hydraulic disc brakes, Bell® helmets, Helly Hansen® rain gear, DAKINE® packs, plus a map and directions. Non-riders can stay with the extended vehicle tour.
Riders must be 15 or older, over 4'10", under 300 lbs, have recent riding experience and wear closed-toe shoes. Groups larger than six must book a guided tour. Dress in layers — it is cold up top.
Morning departure with an 8:00 AM check-in. National Park admission is included.

Riders must be 15+, over 4'10", under 300 lbs, not pregnant, with recent cycling experience; closed-toe shoes required
