Two hours, straight out and back: Hanalei Bay along the entire Nā Pali coastline, turning at Polihale Beach when the weather allows, then home. It is the shortest and cheapest way to see the coast from the water, and from the North Shore it still puts you at the cliffs within minutes.
The boats are 40-foot rigid-hull inflatables — Adventurer II and Adventurer III — with channelled fibreglass hulls that cut through the waves and cushioned stadium-style seating. Agile enough to get close to the valleys, sea caves, waterfalls and lava tubes.
